Stephen Brown is Professor of Political Science at the University of Ottawa. He worked for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for several years and has served as a consultant for several development-related organizations, including UNDP, the Development Assistance Committee of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD/DAC) and the International Development Research Centre (IDRC). He is the author of numerous articles and book chapters, as well as the editor of Struggling for Effectiveness: CIDA and Canadian Foreign Aid (2012) and co-editor of Rethinking Canadian Aid (Second Edition, 2016) and The Securitization of Foreign Aid (2016).
