On April 19, 2021, the Canadian government released its first budget in two years. The Group of 78 and the McLeod Group lined up five foreign policy experts to share their quick reactions on what the budget says – or fails to address – in the fields of environment, trade, aid, defence and diplomacy, as well as reflect on what the implications are for Canada’s Feminist Foreign Policy. You can view the recording of the panel here:
In the lead-up to the 2015 federal election, the McLeod Group produced 15 policy briefs on international development issues that confront Canada and Canadians. We subsequently rewrote and updated them to reflect the change in government and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The policy briefs, available in English and French, can be found here.
Almost every September since 2010, we have challenged your brain and tickled your funny bone with a Back-to-School Quiz. The quiz archives are available here.
In the past, mostly in 2010-2013, we wrote a dozen or so policy papers. They are available by clicking on the tab above or here: https://www.mcleodgroup.ca/mcleod-group-resources/policy-papers/.
